#IdleNoMore .. This ad (0:31) was set to air on Arkansas ABC, NBC, and Fox affiliates this week, but was pulled moments before airing by the stations when Exxon threatened legal action .. April 16th 2013

This is the second time Exxon has bullied this advertisement off the air“Exxon is and will always be a bully,” said David Turnbull.

“Instead of engaging their critics appropriately, Exxon uses its billions to hire high-priced lawyers to make scary-sounding but unsupported legal claims to suppress criticism.

It’s a window into how they have preserved billions in taxpayer handouts for their industry for so many years.”

A Pennsylvania judge surprised the corporate world by ordering the unsealing of a settlement between a family and a fracking company, saying businesses do not enjoy the right of privacy under the state’s constitution.

Judge Debbie O’Dell Seneca of the Washington County Court of Common Pleas ruled last month that the details of a $750,000 payment by Texas-based Range Resources to Stephanie and Chris Hallowich for potential harm to their children must be disclosed to the public.
The decision will enable newspapers, which had sued to have the settlement unsealed, as well as environmentalists and community rights advocates, to examine the court case’s health issues and cause

Federal Judge Stanwood Duval in new ruling: ""Many of the levees protecting New Orleans and the surrounding area were tragically flawed...However, lamentably, there has been no judicial relief for the hundreds of thousands of people and tens of thousands of businesses impacted. The Flood Control Act of 1928 as interpreted over the years gives the United States Army Corps of Engineers virtually absolute immunity, no matter how negligent it might have been in designing and overseeing the construction of the levees."

Everybody loves a good infographic, especially when it shows the structure of the China's PLA.

WARNING: This is extremely virulent propaganda which puts North Korea to shame. The so called security expert makes outrageous slurs against people in the US who uphold the constitution, calling them fringe extremists and insinuating that they are respnsible for the Boston bombing. This guy is a treacherous little zealot who probably had some training in Langley.

Security expert David Mallet discusses the terrorism threat in the US following the Boston bombings.

The fallout from the terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon on Monday, which killed three and injured 152, will likely prompt a new assault on civil liberties in the supposed defense of freedom.

The irony that lurks behind the attack on the Boston Marathon is a cruel one: no other sport better represents the spirit of individual freedom than that of running: The competitor is locked into a contest against himself and time, while the distant finish line exists as an impartial arbiter of victory. The clock does not lie.

The moment of passing the 26-mile threshold is meant to be a jubilant celebration of man succeeding in pushing himself beyond the limits of human endurance. But at this year’s finish line, where flags from around the world decorated the packed grandstand, the only real winners are those who may be tempted to use the tragedy to launch yet another assault on US civil liberties.

After all, it has happened before. Following the attacks of 9/11, which caused the death of some 3,000 people from around the world, Congress rammed through the Patriot Act under the pretext that it was protecting the American people from further acts of violence. In hindsight, that seems to have been a self-serving bit of misinformation. Just as America’s formidable security apparatus failed to intercept four lumbering commercial jets over the most desirable real estate in the free world, legislators failed to protect the American people from administrative acts of violence.

American lawmakers chose to ignore the sound advice of Benjamin Franklin, who warned that “those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Robert Parry in today's Chimp: "While there was speculation about a possible attack by Middle East terrorists, spurred by the questioning of a Saudi national, there were also timely observations about the significance of the date for American right-wing extremists. Not only is April 15 known as Tax Day because of the federal filing deadline, but Patriots Day in Massachusetts honors the Minutemen who battled the British on April 19, 1775, the start of the Revolutionary War. Some right-wing extremists have hijacked such patriotic symbolism to justify violent attacks on the federal government."

DISASTER STRUCK....
Will We Let it Strike Again & Again?
HOW MANY MOORE WILL HEAR: "LEAVE Your House NOW!"

MARSHALL, Mich.— An acrid stench had already enveloped John LaForge's five-bedroom house when he opened the door just after 6 a.m. on July 26, 2010. By the time the building contractor hurried the few contractor hurried the few feet to the refuge of his Dodge Ram pickup, his throat was stinging and his head was throbbing.
LaForge was at work excavating a basement when his wife called a couple of hours later. The odor had become even more sickening, Lorraine told him. And a fire truck was parked in front of their house, where Talmadge Creek rippled toward the Kalamazoo River. LaForge headed home. By the time he arrived,
the stink was so intense that he could barely keep his breakfast down. Something else was wrong, too.
Water from the usually tame creek had inundated his yard, the way it often did after heavy rains. But this time a black goo coated swaths of his golf course-green grass. It stopped just 10 feet from the feet from the metal cap that marked his drinking water well. Walking on the tarry mess was like stepping on chewing gum. LaForge LaForge said he was stooped over the creek, looking for the source of the gunk, when two men in a white truck marked Enbridge
pulled up just before 10 a.m. One rushed to LaForge's open front door and disappeared inside with an air-monitoring instrument. The man emerged less than a minute later, and uttered the words that still haunt LaForge today: It's not safe to be here. You're going to have to leave your house. Now.....

Yet We Must Keep On: This news came to IRT on Saturday and we wanted to keep you fine supporters of non-gmo freedom abreast of the climate on the front lines:

" Last night at midnight, our Assembly bill AB330, quietly died for lack of being brought forward to its next step. We are all saddened and are taking the weekend to chill. It has been an intense few months in Carson City and we deserve to give ourselves a pat on the back for a job well done. The chances of a fledgling organization getting a bill was about 0. And, we did it! It is just the beginning.

We are all doing our best to win. When the opposition is a multi-billion dollar Goliath, Monsanto, that has infinite resources to infiltrate state legislatures, then we have to be very clever in how we win. We have another option that will be explored this week. Won't say much as it could be sabotaged. Then, after that we have two paths. First is education, which requires much organizing. We are working with the Institute for Responsible Technology and their trained presenters to educate in many different venues like churches, civic organizations, etc. We are also organizing to have booths at the Las Vegas Earth Day and the Reno Earth Day. If you'd like to volunteer, send a post. The second is to prepare for an initiative. It is a huge project for next year. We need to gather 101,000 signatures. I know we can do it.

I am very grateful for everyone's efforts and know we will win in the long run. It takes a lot of work on many people's part. The bottom line is we need to boycott buying any food with corn, soy, canola and sugar beets. Those are the main ones that are almost totally GMO. As a society, we could make a change in the ingredients of our food very quickly if we just stopped buying those few foods! Spread the word! Our website has excellent videos you can share in the Resources tab... www.labelGMONevada.org."

Sirius Official Trailer - UFO, Extraterrestrials, Alternative Energy .. Must Watch. Releasing 22/4/2013.

“Sirius” is a feature length documentary that follows Dr. Steven Greer – an Emergency room doctor turned UFO researcher – as he struggles to disclose top secret information about classified energy & propulsion techniques. Along the way, Dr. Greer investigates new technology and sheds light on criminal and murderous suppression. He accumulates over 100 Government, Military, and Intelligence Community witnesses who testify on record about their first-hand experience with the cover-up. Though he feels the pressure of an imminent assassination attempt, he comes upon an amazing find: a possible ancient E.T. skeleton, 6 inches long, is discovered in the Atacama desert. Dr. Greer, along with his team, backed by crowd funding supporters, travel to Europe to get a sample of bone fragment in order to have an IVY league university run genetic tests on the skeleton. What they find will completely change the reality of human existence.

While on this odyssey, the audience gains a whole new perspective on technology, human evolution, and clandestine organizations who have manipulated and controlled the public for centuries.

Corexit news is strange : the warnings are horrendous, observation is sparse and hazardous, implications include unforeseen complications, news and Search show signs of being messed with, deaths of investigators from foul play are reported, as is theft of research papers ; yet we have 'activists' pushing for 'restoration of the Gulf' and pleas not to 'irresponsibly' warn of dangers of Gulf seafood ( what one can find of it ) with a push for 'business as usual' while YouTube chronicles tales of human suffering and blogs warn of corexit rain.
